What Are the Benefits?
Successfully completing probation terms and keeping your record clean may allow you to have certain felony and misdemeanor crimes expunged from your record. Misdemeanor offenses are generally easier to expunge. For people who pled no contest or guilty to a misdemeanor and received a terminal disposition, their records can be expunged one year after the date of the guilty or no-contest plea.
